This project focuses on developing a scaled-down autonomous warehouse robotics system that mimics real-world logistics environments. The system integrates a fleet of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) designed to transport payloads across a structured warehouse floor, along with a stationary robotic arm responsible for picking up and transferring items from the delivery robots. A centralized mission hub coordinates robot tasks, manages real-time communication, and oversees traffic flow to ensure smooth operations. The robots are equipped with onboard sensors and inter-robot awareness mechanisms to enable collision avoidance, mission execution, and safe interaction with the robotic arm, creating a functional testbed for studying multi-robot coordination, fleet management, and warehouse automation.
